Experience

We are dedicated pet owners for over 15 years and currently have five wonderful dogs. Through our personal experience with dogs, it has inspired us to provide a local pet taxi service to help other pet owners. We know firsthand how important it is to have reliable and safe transportation for our furry companions, whether it’s for a trip to the vet, grooming appointments, or doggy daycare/boarding. We approach every ride with the same care and attention that we give our own dogs, ensuring that each pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved during their journey.

Meet & Greet (30 minutes)

We provide a one-time complimentary home consultation to assess your pet’s specific needs and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Our goal is to offer the best possible service for both you and your pets. Simply contact us by phone or by email, and we’ll coordinate to schedule a meet & greet.

A meet-and-greet is required prior to booking a taxi service. We require proof of the following vaccines: Dogs -Rabies, DHPP and Cats – Rabies, FVRCP prior to booking a taxi service.

Safety First

When transporting pets, they will be safely secured in the van with our dog seatbelts which attach to their harness(harnesses are not included, owner supplies the harness). Our van is also equipped with a range of kennel sizes to accommodate different size dogs. Cats are welcomed and must be in a carrier at the time of pick-up. We prioritize your pet’s safety! We regularly clean & disinfect our vehicle

Book

Rides to & from Day care, Boarding , Grooming, Veterinary appointments & Weddings

  • 24 hours in advance. You can schedule an appointment by email or calling us.

    All Payments made by credit/debit card will incur a 3.5% transaction fee.

  • $50.00 (0-10 Mile radius) from the pick up or drop off location. After the initial 10 mile one way radius ; any additional miles will be $1.75 per mile.

  • At Waggin Taxi, we understand that emergencies can arise unexpectedly. Our goal is to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for your pet during urgent or same-day veterinary visits.
    Please review the following policy to understand our service fees and your responsibilities during the transport process.

    🚐 Service Area & Base Fee

    • $70 per trip within a 0–10 mile radius of the pickup location

    • Base fee includes curbside pickup of a leashed and ready dog

    • Drivers do not enter private residences for pickup or drop-off

    • Pets must be able to walk to the vehicle unassisted

    Transportation beyond standard operating hours is subject to additional charges and availability.

    Additional Assistance Fees

    If your pet requires lift assistance to enter the vehicle, the owner or a designated representative must be available to help.
    Should Waggin Taxi staff need to provide lifting assistance, an additional fee will apply based on your pet’s weight:

    • Waggin Taxi transports pets only. Owners or representatives must meet their pets at the veterinary facility for the appointment.

    • We do not transport deceased pets.

    • Please ensure your pet is ready for pickup at the scheduled time. The driver will arrive within the agreed-upon timeframe.

    • Notify us ahead of time if your pet has any special medical needs or travel requirements.

  • Need us to wait for your pet?

    $15 per 15 minutes (1 hour Max) from scheduled appointment time.

  • We understand that your furry friend is an important part of your special day! Waggin Taxi service offers reliable, safe, and comfortable transportation for your dog to and from weddings.

    Whether you need transportation to the ceremony, photoshoot, or reception, we’re here to help make sure your pet arrives looking their best and on time.

    Please reach out to us with details about your wedding day, including the location, time, and any special requests for your pet’s transportation. We’ll provide a personalized quote and ensure everything is arranged to make your day as stress-free as possible.

  • Please take a moment to review and our waiver of liability policy before booking. By proceeding with your reservation, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the terms outlined in our terms of agreement.

  • We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. However, to ensure we can continue offering the best service to all of our clients, we have the following cancellation policy:

    1. Cancellation Notice:
      We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us to adjust our schedule and offer the time to other pets in need of transport. Cancellations made within 24 hours’ of the scheduled pick-up time will receive full refund.

    2. Same day cancellations:
      Cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled pick-up time will incur a charge of 50% of the total invoice for the scheduled fare.

    3. No-Shows:
      If we arrive for a scheduled pick-up and the pet is not available for transport, a full charge of the scheduled fare will apply.

    4. Weather-Related Cancellations:
      In the case of extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that may affect safety, we may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You will be notified as early as possible. If your appointment is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund.
